Solar tariffs are not the answer to economic problems

We should then use the money we allocate to regulate this ill-conceived and largely ineffective trade war, and the cheap renewable energy we collect, to subsidize our own solar infrastructure, including manufacturing. Then, the United States can build it so that when China gives the world subsidized electricity, the United States can rev up our engines and participate in competitive markets. All trade wars are not equal and should not be fought in the same way.
