Solar panel industry production and processing steps

Solar panel workshop operation process:

Cell slice → cell test → cell slice → solder tab → string → lamination → EL test → lamination → group border → cleaning → glue on the box → wiring → flash test → packaging.

1. Cell slice slicing operation process:

Enter the relevant data (such as: sheet width & height) in the computer connected to the slicer → place the battery in the slicing table and divide the battery into small pieces along the cutting line. (Note: The function of the slicer is to cut the battery.)


2. Cell test operation process:

Open the current and voltage tester → put the battery on the surface of the instrument, use the test pen to gently click on the battery while pressing the foot of the instrument → the instrument displays relevant data to see if the data meets the requirements. (Note: The current and voltage tester's test range is current, the voltage is fixed, the voltage of each cell is 0.5V; the pedal is used for power.)


3. Battery chip selection operation process:

According to the size of the battery piece, the cells that pass the test are sliced → according to the color of the battery piece, the light is divided into shallow to deep → each type of battery piece is placed in a carton every 12PCS, between each row of cells Need to be separated by foam, the battery sheet and the carton also need to be separated by foam. (Note: In the film selection, also check the battery sheet for dirt. If it is, use an eraser to gently wipe the stain. If the stain is stubborn and cannot be wiped clean with an eraser, use alcohol to wipe it.)


4. Solder film operation process:

Cut the PV ribbon according to the width of the cell sheet → Put the cut PV ribbon into the flux, take it out later and blow it dry with a blower → Align the cell on the console → Measure the PV ribbon with tweezers The front main grid line of the quasi-cell sheet → quickly pass the photovoltaic strip with a soldering iron. (Note: PV strips should not extend out of the battery, leaving at least 1~2 grids; the soldering iron should not stay when welding the battery and the PV ribbon, otherwise it will be easy to solder joints, and it will not be welded to the bottom. Stop at two grids, otherwise the PV ribbon cannot be bent during lamination.)


5. Serial operation process:

Turn the soldered battery piece up → a piece of battery strip extends from the front side of the PV strip to the opposite side of the other piece of the cell grid → use a soldering iron to quickly walk through the PV strip.


6. Lamination operation process:

Tempered glass→EVA film→cell sheet (Note: each string of cells needs to be aligned and fixed with transparent tape to prevent displacement during lamination)→ strip EVA film→ strip PET film→ according to customer order requirements The voltage is determined by using series or parallel, and the outlet mode → EVA film → PET film → test voltage.


7.EL test operation process:

Open the EL Tester & Software → Put the laminated solar panels into the instrument → Clamp the positive and negative poles of the solar panel with the positive and negative crocodile clips of the instrument → adjust the relevant data (eg current & voltage & brightness) → take pictures → Check if it is a good product. If yes, go to the next step, otherwise send it to the repair area for repair. After the repair is completed, re-EL test. (Note: The function range of the EL tester is solar cell component defect inspection; the principle is imaging; the detection takes 3 minutes to 5 minutes.)


8. Lamination operation process:

Open the laminating machine → press the “open cover” button → put the high temperature adhesive tape → put the solar panel → then put a layer of high temperature adhesive tape → press the “close the cover” button → after about 15 minutes, press the “open cover” button again → evacuate the high temperature adhesive tape → Take out the solar panel and place the solar panel on the table next to the laminator → After aligning the edge of the solar panel with the edge of the table, use a knife to cut off the excess PET film.


9. Group border operation process:

Inject silicone into the frame → Insert the solar panel into the side of the long frame with the silicone → Insert the short frame into the solar panel and the long frame and insert it → Place the solar panel with the frame in the presser to pressurize and use the hammer Beat the border unevenness.


10. Cleaning operation process:

Place the solar panel on the workbench → spray the alcohol on the solar panel → wipe the alcohol with a cloth.


11. Glue on the box operation process:

Apply silicone to the perimeter of the frame. Also apply silicone on the perimeter of the junction box. Pass the positive and negative poles of the solar panel through the positive and negative holes of the junction box and secure the junction box. (Note: The function of the glue is fixed to prevent the solar panels from entering the water when it is raining.)


12. Wiring operation process;

The positive pole of the connecting line passes through the left hole of the junction box → the negative & neutral of the connecting line passes through the right hole of the junction box → cut off the excess solar panel positive and negative with scissors → use the soldering iron to connect the connecting line & solar panel The negative electrodes are respectively soldered to the junction box.


13. Flash test operation process:

Open the flash tester & software → place the solar panel on the console → hold the positive and negative poles of the solar panel with the positive and negative crocodile clips → press the “space” button, the computer will display whether the relevant values meet the customer requirements → if not , then move the solar panel to another more accurate flash tester for three tests → if it is, attach the label to the solar panel junction box and cover the junction box. (Note: The principle of the flash tester is to generate current on the solar panel in the same way as sunlight.)


14. Packaging operation process:

Add the corners at the four corners of the solar panel → cover the foam cotton → boxing → sealing.
