Solar cell packaging generally has the following methods: epoxy resin sealed solar cell module, organic silicone sealed solar cell module, tempered glass laminated closed solar cell module, and the package used by the store is tempered glass laminated closed Solar cell module.


(1) Epoxy resin sealed solar cell module (Epoxy board)

Epoxy encapsulated solar cell modules are simple in process, low in material cost, and are used in small component closures, and are used in some consumer products and small lamps. However, the epoxy resin has relatively poor heat resistance, oxygen aging, and ultraviolet aging resistance. The resin tends to yellow, and the use time is generally one and a half to two years. Generally, the 3W power of the Tianyang board will use this package.


(2) Organic silicone solar cells

Organic silica gel is a special structural packaging material with high temperature resistance, low temperature resistance, aging resistance, UV resistance, oxidation resistance and electrical insulation. Organic silica gel is an elastic machine that has the ability to deform under the action of external force. The silicon wafer will not be damaged when subjected to thermal expansion and contraction, but the impact resistance is poor. When packaging, the surface layer needs to be protected by tempered glass. The packaging process is close to the epoxy resin, and only the process of bonding the glass is added. The solar panel can be used for about 8 years.


(3) Ultra-white tempered glass laminate package (laminate)

High-power solar cell modules are generally packaged in this way. The materials of this package are: ultra-white tempered low-iron glass, UV-resistant EVA, acid-resistant, alkali-resistant TPT, in the following steps: laser slicing -> welding negative electrode - >Welding the positive electrode (welding the battery piece into a string)->Lamination (glass-EVA-solar cell-EVA-TPT)->Medium measurement->Laminating->Curing->Installing aluminum alloy frame, junction box->Final measurement .

This package produces solar panels that typically last up to 15 years, some even up to 25 years. Laminated solar panels use aluminum alloy frames, which can be easily combined, increased capacity, etc., and are generally suitable for large household power sources and power stations.
