Longi was awarded EUPD's "Top Brand" in Europe
Chinese company Longi, the world's largest solar panel manufacturer, was awarded the "2022 Top Brand PV Seal" by EUPD Research Institute in Europe. The EUPD awarded LONGi the Seal in the "Module" category. Designated as Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Poland and Switzerland.
EUPD said: "We are very pleased to present the 2022 European Top Brand PV Award to Longi Solar. Not many players have been able to get excellent assessments from key market intermediaries in many European countries, especially in a relatively short period of time."

The company's expansion has also been driven by the "RE-Power EU" initiative, launched by the European Commission to increase the share of renewable energy in the EU to 45% by 2030 and to double installed solar capacity to 600GW by 2030. In the first half of 2022, Longe shipped just over 20GW of monocrystalline silicon wafers internationally, as well as 17.70GW of monocrystalline silicon modules, with the European market being one of the major buyer's markets.
In the past three years, LONGi's overseas revenue growth has been half of its total revenue, and the European market has become increasingly important to Longi. Along with Longi's position as the world's largest component manufacturer, there is also a commitment to double down on providing the best and most cost-effective solar technology on the market.
Longi's research and development personnel have increased solar panel efficiency to new records, further solidifying customer trust in the company's technology and increasing sales. This record achieved an efficiency of 26.12% for its P-type silicon heterojunction (HJT) cell and was validated in tests at the German Institute for Solar Energy Research (ISFH) in Hamelin.
