FAQ about solar panels
Based on all customer feedback, summarize the FAQ for common solar panels
Q: Are solar panels affected by hurricanes?
Answer: The solar panel is fixed by the bracket system, and all the structures are approved by the structural technician, and the strength is guaranteed to withstand the strength of typhoon grade.
Q: Do solar panels run out of power on cloudy days?
A: Solar photovoltaic devices also produce a little power on cloudy days. Just because the amount of sunlight on a cloudy day is much lower than on a sunny day, the charge may be less than half of what it is on a sunny day, or even lower.
Q: How long does a solar panel service life?
A: Most solar modules have a warranty period of up to 10 years and, based on current state of the art, can in principle maintain over 80% power generation efficiency after 25 years. The warranty period of inverter products of DC to AC is about 8 years.
Q: How should they be protected or maintained?
A: TOO MUCH dust on the surface of the solar module will affect the efficiency of power generation, and if bird droppings stick to the surface, it is more likely to cause efficiency degradation in the long run.
The solar photoelectric module is laid at an Angle, which can clean itself by rainwater. But in addition, it is recommended that the setup every 3 months spray water to clean slightly, remove dust, bird droppings, leaves or cobwebs, etc., in order to maintain the efficiency of the equipment.
Q: Does it make noises or cause electromagnetic hazards?
A: Solar-photovoltaic equipment does not make noise when operating. The power generation equipment is mainly composed of modules and converters. Since the modules output direct current, the high-frequency radiation problem does not arise. The magnetic field produced by the device as a whole is equivalent to that of a computer and other household appliances. There is no doubt that electromagnetic wave will harm human body during operation.
Q: Is it really pollution-free?
A: The solar photovoltaic system is zero pollution. However, the manufacturing process of solar panels may produce industrial waste water and waste gas pollution. In fact, THE SOLAR panel manufacturing process is similar to the semiconductor manufacturing process, except that the front end of the cap manufacturing process is also the main area where the waste gas and waste water produce toxic and carcinogenic species. In other words, the pollution is less than that of the general semiconductor factory.
Compared with conventional coal-fired power generation (thermal power generation), solar photovoltaic systems still produce more than 90% less air pollution than coal-fired power generation, even with manufacturing pollution.
