Solar cells, also known as "solar chips" or "photovoltaic cells", are photoelectric semiconductor sheets that use sunlight to generate electricity directly. A single solar cell cannot be directly used as a power source. As a power supply, several single solar cells must be connected in series and parallel and tightly packed into components.

A solar panel (also called a solar cell module) is an assembly assembled from multiple solar cells. It is the core part of a solar power generation system and the most important part of a solar power generation system.

The principle is that sunlight shines on the semiconductor p-n junction to form new hole-electron pairs. Under the action of the electric field of the p-n junction, holes flow from the n region to the p region, and electrons flow from the p region to the n region. Then when the circuit is turned on, a current is formed. This is how photoelectric effect solar cells work.

The application of solar panels is to store the electric energy converted by solar cell components in the battery pack on the one hand, and to control the battery pack to supply power to the load equipment on the other hand. If AC power is required in the load equipment, the DC power needs to be converted into AC power through an inverter. According to the power demand of system equipment, it can output different voltages such as 12V/24V/36V/48 V/220V to meet the power supply needs of various equipment. The system is reliable and stable, and can meet various outdoor harsh working environments.
