SOLAR LIGHTING TOWER
Requirement:
Mobile solar lighting tower for mine lighting
The power could support 600W LED lights to continuously work minimum 16 hours.

LED Lighting System:
LED Light: 6*100W, DC24V
Daily Run Time: 16 hours
Daily Consumption: 6*100W*16/0.8=12000W·h
Storage Battery System:
Gel Battery: 12V,150AH, Deep Cycle efficiency: 80%
12000W /12=1000AH
1000AH/150=6.6 pieces battery,
we will use 8 pieces battery for series and parallel in DC24V
Total Capacity: 8*150Ah*12V=14400W
Healthy Capacity: 8*150Ah*12V*80%=11520W
Full Battery Running Time: 14400W/600=24 hours
Health Battery Running Time: 11520W /600W=19.2 hours
Solar Panel System:
Solar Panel: 455W solar panel
Current of Solar Controller (MPPT) =60A
Solar controller (MPPT) Charging Efficiency: 95%
Battery Healthy Capacity: 8*150Ah*12V*80%=11520W
Total solar power capacity: 11520/0.95=12126W
Generally, we will use 9hours as standard charging time
So, 12126W/9h=1347W/h
1347W/455W=2.96pieces solar panel
We will use 3 pieces 455W solar panel for this project.
Healthy Solar Charging Time: 11520W·h/(3*455W*95%) =8.9 hours
Full Solar Charging Time: 14400W·h/(3*455W*95%) =11.1 hours
The full charging time from 8.9 hours (minimum) to 11.1 hours (maximum).
Conclusion: For mine lighting project, we will supply lighting tower integrated with 3*455W solar panel+ 8*150W deep cycle solar battery to make sure 600W LED lights work continuously 19.2 hours after the battery are fully charged by 8.9hours (minimum) to 11.1 hours (maximum).
