Enel North America plans to build a solar cell and module manufacturing plant in the United States with an initial capacity of at least 3GW. According to Enel, the plant is planned to be used to produce double-sided heterojunction (HJT) photovoltaic cells, and the modules will be in a tandem structure, utilizing two stacked cells to capture more light than a single-cell structure.
